Where is Everybody?! And Shout Outs Red!
Posted August 13th, 2006 by Matthew in CommentsHey all!
Just wanted to let everyone know that there haven’t been any new entries lately as we are working hard (and by ‘we’, I mean Brian) to bring you a spiffy new type of g14 blog. Blog 2.0, as it were. Now, I’m not going to tell you the new blog stuff, as I’m sure you can guess what it might be, but it’s going to be cool…
So, in the meantime, until the new blog goes up, I wanted to give a shout out to some of our long lost peeps that have helped out with g14 through the years.
First up…Red. A beautiful young girl whose name I can never spell correctly, Corinne was one of the first big supporters of g14. She was in the very, VERY early g14 production Strangers In Paradise, and did a wonderful job that the creator of the book to a liking to. Every once in a while she’ll pop up and say hi and I know that we all look forward to the day that we’ll be able to work with her again. Red, come on here and tell people what you’re doing, and when you’re going to come back and be in something again!
Okay…everybody say hi to Corinne! Also, if you get the chance, I had the opportunity to play an extra in this weeks episode of Galacticast! I have no idea what the scene is about…but I am very man pretty in it. And I know that’s what makes the ladies swoon…
Commence swooning now…

Hurray Corinne! What productions are you working on now that we can support?
Hurray g14/Galacticast! I just watched the last two episodes (using my internship productively). I loved Superman’s ringtone. Hilarious, Matthew. You are all geniuses… genii… genies? Something like that.

Ok, a few things.
1: Hi, Corinne, you gorgeous firey minx! Everyone loves you!
You may be the swellest fan in g14 (G14, Kel?) history! HOORAY, Corinne!
2: So, this new blog? It will have the same address? And what will be new and (even) better about it? Blog 2.0–Blog Harder? I don’t know. . . change is scary, but I will of course follow you guys wherever you go. Because I am a sucker. And I BELIEVE!
Anyhoodles. Keep it up guys. And you Galacticast people–love you too! Funny, clever, AND cute? Ahhhhhh, so happy to find another website of creative people to enjoy!

Yes, Blog 2.0: Blog Harder, will have the same address as this wacky blog. I think. Uhm, I’m pretty sure.
And there’s no need to be scared, this isn’t so much a change as it is…an upgrade. It’ll be fun!
Lastly, I forgot to mention this in the post, but I believe that Corinne was also the first of many cast members in g14 history to take her clothes off for her role (I’m not counting all of the guys that did it in our earlier works that shall never be seen except at secret “Eyes Wide Shut” like g14 parties). Now, of course we never showed anything on camera, but it is still improtant. And why is this important? Well…because we weren’t paying her. We didn’t even say that we were going to give her deferred pay. She did it for the love of her part and for the love of g14. Or…maybe she’s just an exhibitionist. BUT, I’m pretty sure it was for the love. So, thanks Corinne!
Hooray nudity!
Matthew
PS - I’m also not counting Catharsis, which was an early g14 stage play. It is worth noting that Carolyn Bream and Justin Tolley also got naked on stage for this g14 show, and that piece was later adapted into the Man/Woman piece of Noir (coming in Sept.).

Hey all! Sorry I’ve been silent for a little bit. I’ve been locked away hard at work on some stuff for the new and improved bloggity blog vlog. Hmmmmm… hint? I don’t know.
Anyways, more exciting info coming soon!

The bad news: I’ve been sitting in a bar in an international airport for five days trying to get back to the good ol’ US of A. The good news: there’s a free wireless network here, which means I’ve been working on the uber-geeky hidden magic that will become Bloggity Bloggy Blog Two Point Oh: Blog Your Shiny Metal Asses Off. The really good news: I don’t have any hair, so it didn’t matter much that the security goons confiscated my shampoo. Never you mind why I had shampoo for my shorn pate. Never you mind.

FIVE DAYS?!?! Jeez o flip Brian…That seriously sucks…I’m really sorry about that.
But I do like the Blog Your Shiny Metal Asses Off title. Hopefully, you’ve been able to keep your mind off of hot Canadian women (I’m looking at you Casey) by working on the secret Biggity Blog Blog 2. Point 0.
And the shampoo is to keep that pate soft son! SOFT!

Oh geez Brian, that sucks that you’re stuck - though I guess at least it’s a bar with free wireless. I hope you get home soon and safely. Let us know if we can do anything!

Sorry, sorry, I was being a bit metaphorical. Did I say five days? I meant five hours. I’m home, no worries, and I actually did work on your Shiny Metal Asses… er… blog… while I was sitting in that bar. I was trying to fly home the day everything went pear-shaped. ’twas O so much fun.

Ah…You’re a damn liar Brian.
You played our heartstrings like a violin…how could you?
Ah, who am I kidding…you’ve let us assult your daughter with candy and put up our shiny bloggity blog. I can’t stay mad at you…

Ahhh…thanks guys! That was randomness and unexpected, but good to know I am still loved by some. And right now I am stage acting at two differents jobs full time. More than full time. But no matter how much they pay me…(and I get payed pretty damn well) it will never compare to working with g14 productions for free! So thanks for the support, and I am always available for fun filming with you guys, you just have to ask! (but weekends work out best *S*)
But Jeff, Jeff? no love have I received from you? nothing at all? Come on, I know you didn’t get to shoot any shots of me taking my clothes off, but hey, there was that time I was just wearing a bed sheet as a loose toga. Was that nothing for you?
And yes Matthew, I did take my clothes off for you. And even though you never finished editing SIP, I am sure you made a fun little reel of Corinne and all the scenes she was not wearing clothes for you, David, and Kelli to watch. And I even took my clothes off in the freezing cold in a public park with kids running around. Thank the Lord for Joey squatting down in front of me with that blanket when you would call ‘cut.’ WAIT A MINUTE!! Jeff you were there for that!!! You did see me take my clothes off!!! What is up?
And Kelli I miss you too! Isn’t being a red-head the best!
I will try to get down next month or so guys, when things slow down here for the summer. Love you all!! Miss you lots!! g14 rocks my soul!!
